Refund Policy
By placing your order, YOU UNDERSTAND AND YOU ARE AGREEING TO our general NO REFUNDS POLICY. ALL SALES ARE FINAL. THE GSSC HOLIDAY LIGHT SHOW IS OPEN RAIN OR SHINE unless an unsafe condition is present as noted below.
While our goal is to have all planned activities and attractions available during scheduled operating days and hours, weather conditions and other factors beyond our control can cause certain attractions to close. If the GSSC HOLIDAY LIGHT SHOW is open with limited attractions, guests are not entitled to a refund (including a partial refund) due to one or more attractions' unavailability.
*NEW* Ticket Exchange Request Policy
If you cannot make the date/time on your ticket, bought by mistake, or GSSC cancels the show date due to dangerous weather, you can REQUEST A TICKET EXCHANGE for a new date and time for the 2023 show season.
Requests for exchanges must be submitted 36 hours before your original ticket date/time or after the cancellation notice for the show date. We will process your request within 24 hours and you will be emailed an updated confirmation email (Please check your inbox/spam folder) Again, there are NO REFUNDS.
Refund Exceptions
Tickets for The GSSC HOLIDAY LIGHT SHOW are not refundable, as noted above. However, we do provide refunds for the following reasons only:
- DOUBLE ORDER REFUND: Sometimes visitors try to
place an order for tickets and they aren't sure if the order
went through so they try again and end up with two orders.
In this case, we will refund one of the orders, as long as WE'RE NOTIFIED WITHIN 30 DAYS. (Contact us at lightshow@gssc.us or call (631) 543-6622) If you try to place an order and you're not sure if it went through, check your email for the automated email we send immediately after every order is placed— maybe give it a minute or two to get to your inbox—if it's not in your inbox, check your spam / promotions folders too. You can also visit our ticketing site, gssc.ticketspice.com/2023-gssc-holiday-light-show, and use our RESEND CONFIRMATION at the top. Also double-check your email when buying your ticket to ensure you are sending your order confirmation to the correct contact).

DANGEROUS WEATHER / UNSAFE CONDITIONS: As stated above, the
GSSC HOLIDAY LIGHT SHOW is a rain or shine event. We do not close
unless there is a dangerous condition present. Refunds are NOT
provided if it's raining and the event is still on as
scheduled.
If dangerous weather is forecasted, The GSSC HOLIDAY LIGHT SHOW will attempt to make a cancellation determination by 4:00 PM and reach out to customers about the cancellation via order email, post a message about the cancellation on our website, www.gssclightshow.org, our ticketing website, gssc.ticketspice.com/2023-gssc-holiday-light-show and on our social media channels, FACEBOOK: facebook.com/gsscholidaylightshow / INSTAGRAM: instagram.com/gsscholidaylightshow).
If the event is canceled, you can REQUEST A TICKET EXCHANGE for a new date and time. You must submit your request within 36 hours of the cancellation notice of the show date. We will process your request within 24 hours and you will be emailed an updated confirmation email (Please check your inbox/spam folder)
OR
The GSSC HOLIDAY LIGHT SHOW will refund your order for that date. Please contact us at lightshow@gssc.us for a one-time refund for weather-related cancellations.
Transferability
If you find out later that you are unable to use your tickets, you can give your ticket to family or friends OR you can REQUEST A TICKET EXCHANGE for a new date and time. Requests for exchanges must be submitted 36 hours before your original ticket date/time. We will process your request within 24 hours and you will be emailed an updated confirmation email (Please check your inbox/spam folder) Again, there are NO REFUNDS.
Ticket Misuse Warning
Tickets may only be used once. After they are scanned, they cannot be used again. Anyone attempting to gain entry with a previously scanned ticket will be denied entry. It’s important that you don’t mistakenly print your tickets twice and have more than one person attempt entry using the same ticket number.
Third-Party Ticket Seller Warning
The only valid tickets to GSSC HOLIDAY LIGHT SHOW are those purchased directly from our website, www.gssclightshow.org and our ticketing website, gssc.ticketspice.com/2023-gssc-holiday-light-show. Tickets purchased from third party sellers or from individuals may be invalid for entry into our event. Visitors attempting to use invalid tickets will be denied entry. We are unable to assist visitors who did not purchase tickets directly from our official site.
MAKE SURE YOU PURCHASE YOUR TICKETS DIRECTLY FROM US. Every ticket purchased directly from us helps us provide leadership programs and financial assistance for girls to join Girl Scouts or attend our summer camp programs.
Media Release
By attending our event, you grant Girl Scouts of Suffolk County the right to use any photographs, video recordings, or other media captured during your visit for marketing purposes. This includes but is not limited to, the use of your images and video recordings in advertisements, promotional materials, news releases, social media platforms, or other published formats. You agree and hold Girl Scouts of Suffolk County harmless from any claim arising from the use of these images including not receiving any compensation for the use of your media.
