Is the Haunted Trail appropriate for young children?

The trail features several scary sites created by Girl Scout troops that also act and perform. Guests will be guided through the dimly lit woods by a Girl Scout Storyteller and may be exposed to flashing lights, loud noises, and gory images. We offer an opportunity for guests to indicate they are “baby birds,” which informs our site hosts to refrain from using “jump scares” and loud noises. We suggest parents and caregivers use their discretion when allowing children to enter the trail.

Can I bring my wheelchair? My stroller?

While our parking lot and nearby on-street parking are paved, the Haunted Trail path winds through the woods, which requires stepping up and down, and walking through tightly spaced tentalows, as well as navigating uneven terrain for under half a mile. While you're welcome to bring wheeled vehicles, please note that guests may need to bypass certain sites along the trail for safety reasons. We encourage everyone to use their discretion before purchasing tickets to decide if this event is suitable for them.

Can I bring my dog or pet?

For the enjoyment and safety of all guests, we kindly ask that pets remain at home during our Ghoul Scout Halloween Happenin'; Only trained service dogs assisting individuals with disabilities are permitted. Due to the loud noises, flashing lights, and dark terrain, no animals of any kind are permitted in the Haunted Trail.

How do I know if you are closed due to the weather?

The Ghoul Scout Halloween Happenin’ is a rain-or-shine event. We do not close unless dangerous or inclement conditions are present.
