Get ready for an amazing year!
Together with Girl Scout friends, your child will gain the confidence to try new things, speak up in class, and even understand that what makes them different makes them shine. Each of the many activities they can choose from is designed to help them explore their world and expand their horizons. From planting a community garden to visiting an animal shelter, Daisies learn they have the power to make a difference.
Whether your girl is just getting ready to enter kindergarten or she’s already there, Girl Scouts can expand her world outside of school! The best part? You’ll get to join the fun right alongside her and watch as she plays, learns, and grows with the help of other caring adult volunteers. It’s all waiting for her at Girl Scouts.
What do Daisies do?
As a Girl Scout Daisy in kindergarten and first grade, she’ll unleash her imagination to try a wide variety of new and exciting things. She’ll make friends, grow in confidence, and build skills that will help her in school and beyond.
- Grow social skills through in-person meetings with other girls their age
- Find new ways to practice kindness, bravery, and generosity
- Earn special badges and pins to wear as reminders of the new skills they’re learning
- Gain confidence and pride in their abilities
- Learn how to run their own businesses
- Explore the outdoors and spend time in nature
- Try out tech and learn cyber basics that help keep them safe online
- Discover how to help their community and make the world a better place
- Join a circle of friendship and fun like no other
