How to earn the Girl Scout Bronze Award
Build your Girl Scout Junior team
Explore your community
Decide on a project to work on
Make a plan of action
Put your plan in motion
Spread the word
It all starts here. Juniors team up with fellow Girl Scouts to explore their community, discover a need or issue they care about, and work together to address it. It’s a chance to create a plan and make an impact on the community they live in.
Before your Troop starts the path to earning the Bronze Award, Adult Members and Volunteers must take our council's Introduction to the Bronze Award course on gsLearn on your MyGS account. This information is to be shared with the girls in the Troop. Our original course is sunsetting on June 30th, 2025. The updated course, which includes information about the new leadership awards, will be available starting in early August 2025. If you have questions about the Bronze Award from now until August, please reach out to customercare@gssc.us. Please note that the deadline for your project and final report is due September 30th of your sixth-grade year. |
