100 Years of Friendship - World Thinking Day Volunteer Opportunity
**Junior Troops Now Welcome To Volunteer!**
Open to Junior, Cadette, Senior, and Ambassador Troops &
Juliettes (4th grade and up)
Junior, Cadette, Senior, and
Ambassador Girl Scouts are invited to earn community service hours by
hosting a table at our World Thinking Day: 100 Years of Friendship
celebration!
Troops and Juliettes will create and lead a
game or craft that celebrates international sisterhood and friendship
for younger Girl Scouts (daisies, brownies, & juniors). Groups are
responsible for providing enough supplies for up to 100 participating
girls at their table. Please submit your activity idea in the form
below; you will receive an email once your table is approved. Need
inspiration? Check out activity ideas from WAGGGS (
Click
Here).
Girls earn community service hours for time
spent planning, preparing, and volunteering at the event. All
volunteers must attend a required Zoom meeting on Wednesday, February
11 at 5:15 PM to review event details and expectations.
Junior Troops: Earn your Junior Aide
Award by volunteering at this event! This is a prerequisite
for the Bronze Award!
(Pin available for purchase at the
Council Shop after the event.)
