In this interactive program for cadettes and seniors, girls will
explore what it means to eat local-from understanding where food comes
from to preparing seasonal recipes that support local agriculture.
Using the SNAP-Ed curriculum, participants will take part in a guided
nutrition lesson and hands-on cooking experience that brings the New
Cusines and Locavore badges to life.

Cadettes will earn their New Cuisines badge.
