Girls will deepen their outdoor skills in this three-part program which will meet 3 times on Tuesdays for 2 hours.
This journey consists of three badges: Adventurer, Senior First Aid, and Adventure Camper.
This program will provide Seniors with the three badges and a certificate of completion for Part 1 of their Outdoor Journey. After this program, girls will work individually or together as a troop to complete a Take Action Project (Part 2) to complete the journey.
Seniors must attend all 3 sessions to register. This 3 session journey costs $30.
Session 3 is Adventure Camper
When you plan an adventure, like kayaking, mountain biking, or rock climbing, you can combine it with overnight camping to make the most of your outdoor experience. Adventure camping requires minimal equipment and gear because you’ll be active during the day and possibly moving campsites. Some adventure campers bring nothing but a sleeping bag, lightweight stove, some food, and a backpack. Whatever spells adventure for you, start by listing the things you want to do to plan this adventurous camping trip!
Seniors will get the Adventure Camper badge
