Girls will deepen their outdoor skills in this journey which consists of three badges—Night Owl, Trailblazing, and Primitive Camper—and completing a Take Action project.
They will work together to earn the three badges and then work as a group or individually to complete a Take Action Project to finish their journey.
Girls must attend all 3 sessions of the Outdoor Journey to

Session 2 is Trailblazing
This
session is from 5pm-7pm
Join in a favorite Girl Scout adventure! You’re going to prepare to head for the backcountry, where you’ll explore nature and challenge your body on a trailblazing trek. In this program, you’ll learn how to prepare yourself to stay at least one night at a backwoods or primitive site. So, get ready to learn some new outdoor skills while you share fresh air fun with your Girl Scout sisters. You will make a campsite checklist, make some camp snacks, learn about back-packing gear, and practice using a compass.
