Deputy Police Commissioner, Suffolk County Police Department
 

Belinda Alvarez-Groneman, a retired detective and Special Assistant to the Suffolk County Police Commissioner, volunteers extensively in her community, working to improve relations between the community and law enforcement. She joined the Suffolk County Police Department in 1981 as a Community Service Aide and became a police officer 4 years later. She was cited 5 times for outstanding police work before becoming the first woman to join the Police Commissioners' staff. She joined the Office of Congressman Lee Zeldin during his first term in 2015, where she continued serving the community, specializing in the areas of Immigration, Security, and Law Enforcement.

Gomes is a member of the senior executive team, serving as Chief Executive Officer and Chief Operating Officer at Stony Brook University Hospital. Formerly, she was the Chief Quality Officer with administrative oversight for the departments of Continuous Quality Improvement, Decision Support Services, Clinical Pathways and Management Engineering. She was also the Associate Director for Quality Management and Associate Director for Neurosciences.

Marie Martineck is the Senior Director of Commercial Sales for CertaPro of Port Jefferson and has spent over 15 years building a successful career in the construction industry. She proudly serves as Co-Chair of the Women’s Committee for the Long Island Builders Institute (LIBI), where she works to empower and support women in the field. The LIBI Women’s Committee is currently partnering with the Girl Scouts of Suffolk County to develop a mentorship program designed to connect girls with female leaders in the building industry. Marie also serves as a mentor to multiple LIBI members, helping guide and support them in their professional growth.

Michelle Zarifis serves as External Affairs Manager for National Grid, where she builds and strengthens relationships with government officials, community leaders, and local organizations to advance reliability, safety, and long-term policy priorities while supporting New York State’s clean energy goals. Leveraging her extensive government experience and expertise in relationship-building, Michelle has played a key role in driving critical infrastructure projects forward and resolving community issues across the region, positioning her as a trusted partner in Long Island’s evolving energy landscape.

Adrienne Greene, MBA, is a financial services professional with over twenty-five years of experience specializing in retail and business banking.  She holds a Master’s Degree from Long Island University, where she also taught as an Adjunct Professor.  Adrienne holds a credit training certification from Omega.  She was named a Premier Business Woman in 2024 by Herland Community Newspaper.  Adrienne has a passion for volunteering and has been the PTO President at her daughter’s school and well as many other positions with the school parents' organizations.
