GSSC is excited to partner with The Association for Mental Health and Wellness in offering this exclusive training for volunteers. This course teaches the risk factors and warning signs of a variety of mental health challenges common among adolescents and how to support a youth developing signs and symptoms of a mental illness or an emotional crisis. This interactive session will give volunteers the power to manage challenging issues within their troop and the confidence and skills to maximize the Girl Scout Leadership Experience.
This training will take place at Camp Edey, Bayport, NY in Troop House.
Seats are limited. Lunch will be provided. Participants must stay for the entire session to complete the course.
