Sea Protectors Program - Girl Scout Amanda Perrone's Gold Award Project

My name is Amanda, and I am working on my Girl Scout Gold Award. I made this video as a part of my program to bring awareness about the effect we have on the environment and explain ways for everyone to have a positive impact while making some fun DIY crafts of cute penguins and turtles out of recycled materials. I designed this program for my Girl Scout Gold Award with the goal of helping the environment and spreading awareness to children of all ages on how harmful plastics are for the animals. I hope to inspire you to take up small habits such as recycling or using reusable water bottles which both can make a huge difference. I hope you enjoy the video!

If there are any questions, please email
seaprotectorsprogram@gmail.com. I would love to see any pictures of your completed crafts!
