Girl Scouts of USA Receives Grant From Citi Foundation

feature-citifoundation

Thanks to Citi Foundation’s generous grant to Girl Scouts of the USA, the two organizations are partnering to expand girls’ access to civic education—in the process enabling girls to be active and informed members of their communities. Through the partnership and new Civic badge program, girls in grades K-12 will gain an in-depth understanding of how local, state, and federal government works, preparing them to become civically engaged citizens who create lasting impact and make the world a more a equitable and inclusive place.

The Citi Foundation works to promote economic progress and improve the lives of people in low-income communities around the world. We invest in efforts that increase financial inclusion, catalyze job opportunities for youth, and reimagine approaches to building economically vibrant communities. The Citi Foundation's "More than Philanthropy" approach deploys the enormous expertise of Citi and its people to fulfill our mission and drive thought leadership and innovation.
