Volunteer Systems 2.0 is Coming Soon!

Are you ready for Girl Scouts upcoming system downtime? Let’s make sure!

In October we shared information about Girl Scouts upcoming system refresh and plans to debut an enhanced member account management system later this fall. It’s true! Girl Scouts is on track to pull back the curtain and Go-Live with myAccount in early December—just a short time away—and we want to make sure that our volunteer and member communities our ready!

Starting November 18 at 11:59 PM EST, Girl Scouts will begin system-wide updates that will temporarily restrict the ability to complete many volunteer and member related tasks and pause access to:

  • Volunteer Toolkit (VTK)
  • gsLearn (volunteer online training platform)
  • myGS
  • Looker (service unit admin team reporting resource)
  • Background check completion and submission for processing
  • New membership registration/s and membership renewals

Please take time to review the Member Go-Live Timeline and Member Guide for the Upcoming System Wide Refresh. Together these documents will provide you with a breakdown of each of the platforms and processes listed above and the steps you can take to ensure everything is in order and that you have what you need for any troop meetings or activities on your Girl Scout calendar from November 18 (11:59 PM EST) through Go-Live.

If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out to customercare@gssc.us for assistance.

In the coming weeks we will continue to share information and updates with our members and volunteers on a regular basis. Please watch for these important reminders in future emails.

Coming Soon—A Refreshed GS Member Account System!

Later this fall Girl Scouts will release a refreshed member account management system. The fresh new environment will provide increased visibility to your Girl Scout member account, make it simpler to manage and maintain household memberships (and for troop leaders, troop memberships too!)and find more fun for your girl!

As Go-Live approaches we want our members and volunteers to know that we will be here to guide you through the transition from beginning to end! See a copy of the Go-Live timeline which shows important timeframes for your awareness. As we get closer to the different phases shown on the timeline, we will share more detailed messaging and communications to ensure your comfort and readiness for system downtime and Go-Live. We encourage you to be on the lookout for additional emails and communications in the weeks to come to guide and support you throughout this time!

Thank you for your patience while we work to enhance your Girl Scout member experience.
