Long Island Cares Drive

Girl Scouts of Suffolk County, in partnership with Long Island Cares Harry Chapin Food Bank, is hosting a year-long food and needed items collection in honor of Girl Scouts’ 100th Anniversary. Collection bins are located at all of our agency locations. Items to be collected will vary each month.

For the month of February, we will be collecting Non Perishable Food. Your support is appreciated!

Past Presidents' Scholarship

All registered 12th grade, graduating Ambassador Girl Scouts are eligible to apply for this scholarship. The application, references and instructions will be mailed directly to each registered girl's home.

     The applications are due by March 5, 2012. The Scholarship Selection Committee reviews each scholarship application anonymously. The committee is made up of adult volunteers and 11th grade Girl Scouts.

     The recipients will be advised that they have been selected and the scholarships will be presented at the Annual Meeting of Girl Scouts of Suffolk County on April 18, 2012. If you have any questions, please contact Micheline Coley at ext. 218 or at mcoley@gssc.us.
