Long Island’s favorite drive-thru light show where all proceeds go to programs for girls and families across Suffolk County.

Dates: November 29 - December 30, 2018 (Closed December 24 & 25)

Times: Monday-Thursday, 5-9PM • Friday-Sunday, 5-10PM
Extended Holiday Times:
Dec. 17-20, 5-10PM • Dec. 21-23, 5-11PM

Pricing: $20 per car • $40 per mini bus or RV • $70 per coach buses, school buses or trolleys 

(No cash; Only credit/debit cards will be accepted for payment. No Refunds.)

Directions

Smith Point County Park, Fire Island Beach Rd, Shirley, NY 11967

From East or West: Long Island Expressway to Exit 68 and go south on William Floyd Parkway OR Sunrise Highway to exit 58S for William Floyd Parkway. Drive over Smith Point Bridge, follow the signs, and enjoy the show!

Do I need a ticket?  
Admission to the show is paid at the gates only – no presales, no timed ticketing, credit/debit cards only, please. No refunds.

Can I pay with cash?
For safety reasons, cash as payment will not be accepted. Credit/debit cards only, please. No refunds.

Am I allowed to exit my vehicle at any point while driving through? 
No. For your safety, we require that all passengers remain in the vehicle while driving through the Holiday Light Show. Photography is permitted from inside your vehicle. 

Can you accommodate large vehicles, such as buses?        
Yes, coach and school buses can be accommodated. Cost is $70/coach or school bus.

Do I need to turn off my headlights?
Yes, please turn off your headlights when you drive through show. If you cannot turn your lights off, please turn your lights on dim and keep a safe distance between you and the car in front of you.

Can I have people in the back of a pickup truck or an attached trailer?
No passengers are permitted in the back of pickup truck or in an attached trailer. Please follow traffic safety laws.

Tips for driving through the show
Please do not tailgate the vehicle in front of you. Keep a safe distance, as cars in front of you may brake suddenly. Be alert of slow vehicles.

Why Visit?

When you visit the Holiday Light Show, you are helping families in your community. Girl Scouts’ unique programs and services are offered to all children in a myriad of ways: traditional avenues, such as troops, partnerships with school districts in STEM and Arts education, learning opportunities with other agencies, and programs for children and families in underserved communities. 

The Light Show enables Girl Scouts to continue to send children in need to summer camp and to maintain its stewardship of two camp properties: Camp Edey in Bayport on the Sans Souci Lakes, and Camp Sobaco in Yaphank’s Pine Barrens on the banks of the Carman’s River.
