Camp Edey

Camp Edey's Journey to Adventure is for girls entering grades 1 - 6. The camp is located on 95 sprawling acres on the beautiful Sans Souci Lakes in Bayport, has two pools, an archery range, miles of hiking trails, and even a frog-friendly pond. A typical day runs from 9AM to 4:30PM.

Optional Programs

ALL-NEW Acting Workshop - $25/4 Day Session /
Grades 3-6 (Camp Edey Only)

Led by a local theater actress, experience various theater techniques including acting, singing, dancing, set & prop making and much more! Participants will have their headshot taken and placed on the “Wall of Stars”. Workshops include (4) 1 hour skill sessions culminating in a Friday performance.

Week 1: June 29 - July 2
Design your own invention, build your own catapult, join the all-camp Sing-A-Long and more!

Week 2: July 6 - 10
Miss Mermaid
Test your mettle in the Camp Water Olympics, dance your feet off at the Luau Dance Party, create a seashell treasure box, and enjoy underwater and nautical activities.

Week 3: July 13 - 17
Animal Kingdom

Build a bird and butterfly feeders. Learn about animal tracking, pet care, and animal habitats. Don’t miss the circus field day!

Week 4: July 20 - 24
Camp Like a Girl

Camp like you’ve never camped before: Make s’mores, learn to tie-dye, and perfect your camping skills. Enter the Marshmallow Throw competition!

Week 5: July 27 - 31
Color Wars!
Best the competition in the friendly Camp Color Wars and compete in the Amazing Race. Play games of yesteryear, and experience other games from around the world.

Week 6: August 3 - 7
Frozen in Summer

Beat the heat with awesome Frozen activities. Melt Elsa’s Frozen hands, learn frozen fractal art, show off your fashionista side at a DIY princess fashion show, and attend an ice princess iced tea party.

Week 7: August 10 - 14
Girl Scout Adventurer

Learn Geocaching, Letterboxing, and how to make a Constellation Finder. Test your limits at the Challenge Course, and search for loot in the Camp Treasure Hunt.

Week 8: August 17 - 21

Unlock your inner diva! Take part in a talent show and Celebrity Day. Rock out at dance parties, enjoy acting games, and sing your heart out with karaoke.

Week 9: August 24 - 28
Social Butterfly

Make new friends…! Have a blast together with group games, and cool down at the ice cream social. Make SWAPs, and try your hand at international crafts and activities.

Week 10: August 31 - September 4
Full STEAM Ahead!

Art + Science = Awesomeness! Experience activities that blend the arts and science including exploding art, candy science, slime-making, and a fashion show featuring recycled materials.

Drop-Off Instructions
Please drop-off your child at the Juliette Low Friendship Center by 9AM and pick-up by 4:30PM each day.
It is important that you check-in and check-out your child each day. Children will only be released to those indicated on your registration and must show id for verification. No exceptions because your child's safety and well-being is our top priority.

Optional Amenities
Bus Transportation - $40 per week

Extended Care - $10 per day
Drop-off at 8AM / Pick-up at 6PM.
