Camp Edey

Camp Edey, which has hosted generations of young women in its history, serves girls only who are entering 1st - 9th grade. It is located on 95 acres on the beautiful Sans Souci Lakes in Bayport. A typical day runs from 9AM to 4:30PM.

Lights, Camera, Action! - $75/week
(For Girls Entering Grades 6 – 9)
Become a part of the cast and crew in this week-long program. Be the actors in a skit, then switch roles and be behind the camera, learning the basics of production and direction. Explore various acting and character techniques. Finally, create a marketing campaign to advertise the finished video product to your fellow campers! Each participant will receive a copy of the final DVD.

Journey into Broadcasting - $75/week
(For Girls Entering Grades 6-9)
Assume the role of news anchor, reporter or producer. Learn to identify and cover news-worthy stories at summer camp, and how to “toss” stories from the newsroom to reporters in the field. Learn public speaking tips and tricks and how to appear as a professional on-camera. Each participant will receive her own copy of the final, edited broadcast on DVD.


Drop-Off Instructions
Please drop-off your child at the Juliette Low Friendship Center by 9AM and pick-up by 4:30PM each day. It is important that you check-in and check-out your child inside the building each day. Children will only be released to those listed when registering online and must show id for verification.

Optional Amenities
Bus Transportation - $30 per week
Includes bus pick-p and drop-off.

Extended Care - $10 per day
Only available at Camp Edey. Drop-off at 8AM / Pick-up at 6PM.
