Did you know that the average 4-hour Booth Sale in Suffolk County sells over 170 boxes of cookies? That equals success!
Booth Sales are a great way to help your troop meet its financial goals and help girls achieve their individual goals, too. The cookies sold at a Booth Sale should be equally divided among all Girl Scouts who participate in the Booth Sale. The girls can then use those cookie points toward receiving the award(s) that they want. Holding Booth Sales also gets you closer to making the 21st Century Super Troop Award. Every girl who participates in at least one successful Booth Sale will receive a 2017 Booth Sale Patch!
There are plenty of places to set up your booth sale!

- Shopping Centers (especially large chain stores)

Time it Right!
Plan a Booth Sale for a day and time that the location you choose is busiest.
Ask the Manager at your Booth Sale location if you can display a poster a week before your sale.
Booth Sale Etiquette
Don’t forget to download the Booth Sale Etiquette Contract. Go over all the rules with the girls and have them each sign that they understand.
- Create a GOAL poster to show your customers what the troop will do with the funds raised at the Booth Sale.
- Decorate your table.
- Dress up in the Cookie costume (available at the Cookie Cupboard; please reserve in advance).
- Display cookie packages.
- Have the girls in uniform. Smile!
After booking a Booth Sale, make a schedule of the hours you will be selling and invite all of your girls to sign up. Let them commit to a 1 to 2 hour time slot, which allows more girls to share in the cookie points generated from the sale. Assign 2 adults and up to 4 girls per time slot.
