By taking this training you will be prepared to help younger Girl Scouts have "Fun with Purpose". Covered in this training:
Learning what to expect from younger girls as they develop; Managing groups of girls; Inspiring younger girls to be leaders in their own lives
Engaging girls in the processes: Girl Led, Learning By Doing and Cooperative Learning; Facilitating Journey activities; Understanding safety guidelines; Putting your skills to work in your Service Unit and Council; Celebrating successes
- Earn one LiA (Leadership in Action Award) prior to taking this training

- Complete the 5 hour training course
- Work directly with younger girls over 6 activity sessions.
Girls will receive their PA pin upon completion of this training.
Girls must arrive on time and bring a bag lunch.
(includes $12 registration fee and $12 council service fee)
Girls must be at least 13 years of age and apply for a position at Winter Break or Spring Break.
