Girl Scout's 100th Anniversary Celebration

Girl Scouts of Suffolk County will be hosting a council-wide celebratory event on May 19, 2012, in honor of the 100th Anniversary at Country Fair in Medford. Click here for more information.

Long Island Cares Drive

Girl Scouts of Suffolk County, in partnership with Long Island Cares Harry Chapin Food Bank, will host a year-long food and needed items collection in honor of the 100th anniversary.

Planting Trees for the 100th Anniversary

In Spring 2012, Girl Scouts throughout Suffolk County will plant tree saplings in their local communities in honor of the 100th Anniversary. Click here for more information.

Signs for the Centennial

Girl Scout leaders and volunteers will place commemorative signs on their lawns in celebration of the 100th Anniversary. Purchase your sign at your local Girl Scout Shoppe.

Commemorative Anniversary Bricks

Green, commemorative bricks will be offered in honor of the 100th Anniversary. Purchasers will have the opportunity to have the bricks engraved with the message of their choice. Bricks will be laid at either Camp Edey in Bayport, Camp Sobaco in Yaphank, or at our East End Riverhead Office. Click here for more information.

Girl Scout Commemorative Coin

The Girl Scouts of the USA Commemorative Coin Act authorizes the minting of 350,000 silver dollar coins in honor of the achievements of the 50 million women nationwide whose lives were touched by Girl Scouts. The coin will be minted and sold in 2013, marking the end of the year-long centennial celebration.
